My mother used to make a type of Christmas pudding every year. I love scotch eggs! Rice pudding was another common dessert in our home when I was growing up. I guess that says something about our British (and Irish and Scottish) heritage. Toasted bacon and tomato sandwich with mayo; yum yum! I also love shepard's pie.

In my experience (I've lived in Britain for over 20 years) rice pudding is always served as a dessert, the only time I seen it served at Breakfast was at a resort in Portugal. Also as to the Full English Breakfast, an FEB as you describe is actually fast becoming a rarity due to younger generations being put off by the amounts of fried elements in it's composition

I have had most of these iconic British Foods. The only two I will not try are blood sausage and steak and kidney pie. Blood sausage just sounds disgusting, and if kidney is as bad as liver as a prepared meat, no thank you. Great video. Amazing narrator.

I've had Yorkshire pudding when our English neighbor made it. It was very good. I don't see why English food is so maligned. Maybe I'm just weird in my food likes.

OMG, I love fish and chips. I've been making it for years using that name (I'm American). Also, has anyone been able to get through public school in the US without eating shepard's pie????
