To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edged as an investor because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. Paul, around 9:00 I almost fell down laughing twice. Question, how do I answer my student asking if a company consistently buying it's shares back during good times and bad isn't just dollar cost averaging which is not a bad thing? I can only state the obvious, that it'd be better if they were only buying at lower prices. ps Don't worry, I teach English, not investing🙂

Really bugs me when you complain about companies buying back shares consistently regardless of price while in the same breath preaching about consistent dollar cost averaging. Do you not see the contradiction?

I have been watching older videos too. What would be your outlook /suggestion for those who mainly have access to the Japan market, esp. with tax advantaged accounts? I dont know if you would see their market as a bargain or a stagnant pool as a whole (whether you would sit out effectively Until very recently it cost money to keep cash deposited as cash with liquidity.
