I use the tape. It has a small opening in the center, im still able to breathe through my mouth but most of my breathing us through the nose. Nose breathing is healthier. Also it keeps me from getting dry mouth since I'm not sucking in air.

It's not just the alar. It could be your passage way getting squished from your sleeping position. Try sleeping with a straight back, either no pillows on the head or the pillows acting as an elevation of head and back.

That mouth tape is terrifying..I would never do that. I like the more air idea much better than the less air, smothered idea...

But a lot of people snore through their mouth (throat) and not through their nose or just through their nose

They are still taped on, so you aren’t getting rid of the tape.

Using this device stops snoring, but it looks like mouth breathing is her issue. Does it actually stop that habit??? Doubtful.
