“Losing your dark squared bishop” is my go to. I immediately trade for destroying a knight. If I can survive until the end game I want to have two knights for me vs 1 bishop and 1 knight.
Then I mercilessly go after that knight to trade knight for knight.
Now he has a piece (bishop) that can only move on 50% of squares.
This usually translates into a successful pawn endgame for me.
