Good playthrough. I picked up the game a few days ago and this video helped clarify some of the rules. (Not to mention the huge error about creature/castaway movement in the rulebook.) I'm a sucker for dinosaurs so there is no way I could have not liked this game. That said, what I tell people this a game more for people who just want to spend a couple hours participating an adventure, and are not worried about strategy or fair game mechanics. (A few bad dice rolls are sometimes all it takes to lose.) I'm happy with the game, but I can see people who want more "game" in their board games not liking it.

Hey. Rewtaching this video. I got the game a few months ago and have just got it to the table. Both you and Paul D'Arcy have done excellent playthourghs. I watched them at the end of last yera, and they prompted me to get the game. It is not very taxing, and a great way to spend an evening fighting and running away from Dinosaurs. At around 1:03 you move both the Time Castaways. There is an error in the rulebook regarding Time castaway and creature movement apparently. The designer has weighed in on one of the forums on BGG, and in the unoffical FAQ. Movement is only one space rather than the multi space movement you did. The rule book is very misleading on that.

Thanks again for all the playthroughs. I did the KS pledge for Unbroken BTW, and my next purchase in a couple of months will be Dungeon ALliance. I loved watching you go through that

Is there any skill needed to play this game? Looks like nothing but dice rolling.I ordered it online last week on a whim, as there was very little information, but now after watching the video I am wondering whether I should even bother unwrapping it. There also seem to be problems with the rulebook which is not a good sign. Well, on further viewing, your exclamation "Wish me luck!" tells me all I need to know.

I think at 1:02:37 -
You just move the number indicated. So Casey and Daniel Boone just moves 5 spaces in the indicated direction, not 10. But if they were already on an explored tile, they'd move normally. I don't think that it would take effect immediately.
Not sure if I'm right but it sounds plausible, have you done a refresher of the rules since your playthrough?

Curious, at 44:25, how did you walk through the partially blocked path? Thanks, just played this for the first time last night and I want to make sure I got the rules right.
