I can't listen to this song without crying. When I was young me and my dad were very close even though he worked very late and got home in the mornings. His favorite thing to do was to play his guitar while I sung. These were mostly the types of songs he would play and sing. We would listen to this song a lot and he would song it to me. Eventually my parents got a divorce and I don't see him very much anymore... He's is such a good person and I constantly wish we still had the bond we had when I was little. People seem to treat you differently as you get older. If anything similar has happened to you reading this right now just know you have someone to talk to and I'm sorry. ❤

I drove from Philadelphia to la in the summer. I met a friend at a bar in Hollywood and and got some shroom chocolate bars. After eating them we stumbled around for awhile. Eventually we came upon a residential house burning down. Firetrucks were there, people were there watching in bathrobes. A car pulled up and some guy gets out to watch. This song was blaring from his car radio.

Watching the siding of that house warp and bend as this song played was amazing.

This makes me nostalgic and sad about something that never happened to me.

You know you were in love when certain songs don't even remind you of your own memories.

This song. I've heard it before but I don't know where or when. It's such a good song but the thing is it makes me feel nostalgic and sad. I looked into the artist and it's Jason Schwartzman. He stars in my favourite movie 'The Darjeeling Limited' and is one of my favourite actors in all of Wes Anderson's films. I don't know why this song makes me feel so weird. It makes me think of what if I had something to do with this song like in another world/dimension/universe and like right now I'm in this world connecting to this song.

When a song makes you feel something so indescribable, you know it's a good song.

My step-brother danced to this with his mom yesterday at his wedding. The energy is amazing. <3

This was me and my best friend's song. We loved Coconut Records so much. We stumbled upon this song during the summer of 8th grade around '13. We live in the Philippines. She moved to America all of a sudden, in the West Coast at the end of 8th grade. We still talk occasionally, and it's been almost 5 years since I've last seen her. Every time I hear this song I can't help but cry and miss her.

It's amazing how music takes you back to a time & a person, which are now all strangers and gone. For the better.
Music heals 💪🏻

This is my song for my best friend. She moved to the east coast but loves it on the west coast. I can't hear this song without thinking of her and wishing she was still on the west coast with me.

Had to go back home to the West Coast,
after spending one of the best months of my entire life with the love of my life, ...
Made me cry listening to this song, because when I was in the airport in the security check line, seeing him standing there alone without me, ... and knowing he couldn't come with me, back home,
as much as I just wanted to pack him in my suitcase lol, ..
He had a life to live on the East Coast. Long distance relationships are so difficult.... s;

A great song a classmate shared with me that instantly inspired me to make a film with this song.  It is truly a magnificent song that makes you think of that special someone that was in your life for a brief time but truly made a difference in your life.  This song is perfect.
