RAM build-up O Roll orchestrion plays 'Temptation'

This is an antique Reed & Sons piano with a RAM player system added to it probably in the 1980's. I repaired and refinished the soundboard, regilded the plate and restrung the piano. The original silicone valves and pouches were still good but the pneumatics needed to be properly hinged and recovered with new cloth.

These player systems are rebuildable but some of the plastic parts can break easily and cause frustration.

In this video I'm settling in the new strings prior to the final tuning. After the last tuning I will install the xylophone and other percussions.

all those wires and rubber tubes yeesh makes my head hurt just thinking about how you restore these without any manual or documentation to make sure everything goes back where it needs to be
