I love Robert The Bruce's eyes as he draws his sword..they're saying, "This is complete insanity but I'll die for this cause."

"YOU'VE BLED WITH WALLACE...NOW BLEED WITH ME!!!" such a power statement; he's picking up the torch; time to fight not surrender!

An incredible scene and an incredible way to end a great movie. James Horner's score really ties it together to perfection. Ladies, if you want to see your man shed a tear or two, this is a good candidate.

To my Scottish friends be proud of what your ancestors did and what they fought for. Be proud of who you are and be proud of your Scottish spirit.

When you have nothing left to lose, that is when the mind, body and soul is at its strongest. No pain or words will stop that final flood of adrenaline that either leads you to victory, or takes you to enternal peace.

I think the sword being thrown by Hammish into the battlefield before the Scottish charge was meant to be an homage/reference to James Douglas and Robert the Bruce. Douglas went on crusade after Robert the Bruce's death and the Bruce's heart was thrown into battle before Douglas and the other scots fighting with him charged after it. What James Douglas says as he threw Robert the Bruce's heart is where the title comes from. "Go forth Brave Heart, and I shall follow thee." It's a clever reference as Wallace's sword serves as a stand in for Wallace himself just as Robert the Bruce's heart did when it was thrown first into battle.

As historically inaccurate this movie is, it’s scenes like this that move me and make me continue to watch Braveheart.

I named my son after William Wallace. Perfect ending to an epic film.

Williams father in law being there was a nice touch. He said so much without uttering a word.

1:07 I've always loved that look Hamish and Stephen are giving Robert. Like he's at a crossroads: what kind of king are you going to be?

It doesn’t matter how historically inaccurate it is, Braveheart is still a tearjerker! Especially the ending!

James Horner did an INCREDIBLE job with this score, I will never get over how beautiful each piece is and how perfectly it goes with each scene of the movie ❤👏🏽

I'm directly descended from The Black Douglas who sadly isn't in this film but my 22nd great grand uncle fought alongside Robert The Bruce and William Wallace. Just found it out recently through DNA testing. I'm very proud to be Scottish and I always will be we will have our freedom. 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My favorite part is when Robert The Bruce takes the handkerchief out touches it and looks at Hamish and Stephen and they give him this look as if saying : “we are ready, just waiting on
