We are visiting PDC this week. Based on your recommendation we ate at Amate 38. This was an amazing place to eat! Food, environment, service. We were offered a menu in English and most of the waitstaff spoke very good English. Our group of 3 had shrimp ceviche, guacamole, a pork dish, chicken tacos and grilled tuna, all served with tortillas they were making onsite uzing traditional methods. Everything was delicious and beautifully served. The beer was cold and the food cooked to order. The setting for this restaurant is gorgeous and very unique. They offered us insect repellant made from essential oils and put a fan on us because I expressed a brief concern about mosquitoes. I felt like we were dining in a beautiful jungle cafe. I encourage you to listen to Sarah's advice and give this one a try.
