Too much spending? The tax revenue of this country is far less then what the government borrows and spends. Not to mention the wealth gap and denying one specific group their own economics for generations.

0:52 That is literally going to blow up in their faces, You hear that students who can't find a job with that worthless degree spent thousands of dollars getting, do you hear that! All while food and transportation are going to get insanely expensive and let's not talk about the cost of heating your home

The US government spends unnecessarily too much, it is good to cut some spending not too big, like health, education or in the military budget, which is almost 800 billion dollars, this will not make that much difference, it will still be a powerful country, but it will make a difference at least, a debt relief, Don't let ego / pride speak louder, pay the debt honestly!

Don't worry, we'll all soon be forced into the CBDC system which will lead to the greatest wealth gap and loss of freedoms in history. Most of my ignorant fellow Americans will cheer it on as at first they'll exchange the dollar with more CBDCs. Most of the 99.99% is aware of the fact that all sides in governments are serving their corporate masters towards this goal. I can only hope that Americans wake up before it's too late.

So a deal to avoid the default is worse than the default itself? This is just political grandstanding so Representatives and Senators can say “I said it wasnt a good deal” later on.

At this point, we're ALL going to have to suffer with higher taxes to pay down our debts!!! At this current time, I'm paying around 14% in total income tax...I'd be willing to pay 20% to help our country, and the tax raise should be across the board, with oversight on where the new revenue is going.

If we keep printing the money is worthless to those who work to earn it. If it's given to you they just get given more and don't care the value of the money. That's the problem.
