NTA, I hate that society views this as normal. It’s my food not yours! It’s different if you offer food from your plate cause you can’t finish it but I HATE food snatchers. It’s bad manners

In my opinion thats fair, Hes not a jerk because he doesnt want to share his food, instead of getting upset or hurting her feelings, he came up with a solution that means she doesnt touch his food

NTA I've struggled with just eating in general so when I actually wanna eat and then someone or worse one of my nieces eat it I won't be able to eat anything for the rest of the day and I would sometimes go the next day not eating its the worse

NTA. If someone doesn’t like sharing their food you need to respect their boundaries. My family loves to share food so we order different dishes & split them. My brother HATES it. OP’s wife should know by now that her actions bother her husband & that she needs to order her own food.

Nta. I absolutely hate when people do this. My mom did it all the time, and I'd wind up still hungry after a meal because I barely got anything. I started doing what OP did to be able to eat. I still get upset when people take food off my plate though.

NTA, doesn't matter if they're you're spouse or bf/gf if you ask them to not take the food YOU ARE EATING they need to respect it, they should order food if they want food.

I order my own and let the other person eat half of mine. That's the solution to not being that hungry.

NTA my mom used to do that all the time, she always ordered the same thing everytime but i ordered something different each time so I had to have a fork on guard to keep her out.
