I thought the first guy won... until I saw the second guy's performance. 🔥

I am a 70 year old lady so you know this is not my style of dancing but I love to watch different styles because I enjoy viewing the creativity. This young man from Japan is amazing! He dances to the music, the breaks in the music, the slowdowns, the increase of the speed, and he dances with a sense of humour. How he contorts his body in those positions just making it look so natural, never missing a beat.He has a gift and we all get to enjoy it.

Even Crown had to pause after Soraki’s first go, his expression of acknowledgment said it all, respect to both for giving us their best as usual

I felt like this - the Crown/DSoraki battle - was the real final. Both these dancers are amazing: musical, fluid, and fierce - and both exhibit so much joy in dancing. The whole World Finals was a pleasure to watch but this contest was intense. Also, Soraki dancing to "I'm coming out" was a highlight for me. He embodied that song.

soraki just has the moments that make me replay it over and over again while still being able to body the rest of his performance. it’s absolutely insane

Soraki is DIFFERENT. Makes a lot more sense why he won after seeing this specific battle (which was good enough to be the finals). As much as I would have liked DaVinci to win or The Crown, Soraki was the cleanest dancer with the fewest flaws and never seemed to be tired. If anything I am surprised that the audience voted correctly so shoutouts to South Africa.

The crown forces the audience to move, but the audience at soraki is on its feet before you know it.

That 1st round was SOO GOOD!!! I'd seen The Crown's performance circulating online, and I couldn't imagine how D Soraki could win over that. Now I see both their performances were insane! I love how they fed off of and challenged each other, and how D Soraki's 1st round performance seemed influenced and inspired by The Crown's before him for more of an answer-response. And not only that did they interact with each other but they both interacted with the crowd as well. This was a great match-up of skill, musicality, and performance. (Not to mention a great song to inspire it!)

Soraki's technicality and form are next level and unmatched. Soraki's start and transitional end is masterfully executed. He's outright a dance prodigy and master at storytelling. He's hypnotic, captivating, thrilling and riveting all at the same time that time becomes relative as I'm in his time machine...where time has stood still in my reality.

Felt like the crown would have been in the semis or maybe finals if he didn’t have to go against D soraki early in the competition.
They both killed that first song together🤯 hit every beat in their own respective style👌🏼

I think I came to the conclusion that Soraki is a real dancer. His competitors treat each performance like a sports event and they're like elite athletes ready to dish out all their moves, pulling one trick after another, which are all amazing. Soraki is obviously supremely gifted athletically.... does he have bones?! But he dances like he's expressing the joy of dancing more so than any of his peers and he's always in tune with the music. The man has an innate sense of body rhythm. Other people performs, Soraki dances. Another thing from my observation is that Soraki is always able to maximize the extension of his limps in movement that creates a more visually dynamic presentation. Every hop, every stretch, every twist, everything is more extended as if he's an octopus in shock therapy! In short the young man is sui generis. I don't know anything about dancing and I am a fan.

finally the full thing i was so curious about soraki's version of say my name because I'd seen the crown and he lost despite being that good. I wish they didn't face off this early in the competition would've loved to see the crown more. Soraki's a deserving winner though his musicality and flow

Crown's first round was dope, but D Soraki is just on another level physically. It's like his body has a hundred extra bones that bend, stretch, and retract in a hundred different directions.

The faces in the crowd behind soraki is hilarious. One guy filming looks like he's gonna cry, guy with his head in his hands in disbelief, guy with earbuds jaw is on the floor. I love just scanning the crowd lmao.

What I love about Soraki in all the RB battles is that he's not dancing like a back up dancer nor is he overdoing...he's REALLY DANCING EFFORTLESSLY which is what I think makes it magic. When he finishes his response I can't believe the time went b/c he's just so captivating and mesmerizing and hypnotic all in one. He literally melts into the music and just floats defying the laws of gravity.

My favorite part of this d soraki first round was 1:52-2:00. If u look at each person in the crowd, all you see is pure happiness and enjoyment of that dance move😊

I don't understand why people are not talking about 1:10 to 1:20. All the parts are moving on their own, it's called the The Detachment. It signifies moving as you like, without thinking about any other thing. He did it perfectly.
