This is the WRONG WAY, Nerf.

The NERF LMTD Star Wars Mandalorian Amban Phase Pulse Blaster is finally here... and it's awful. It's worse than I could have expected in just about every single category. And not only is it bad, but there's a cheaper version coming out with what seems to be an identical shell but at less than half the price (but lacks the single red LED and half dozen random sound effects). This blaster hurts, the quality is bad, it was not even remotely worth the $120, and I fear for the future of the Nerf LMTD line. The Mandalorian's Sniper Rifle from NERF is the WRONG way, that's for sure.

It's finally done. I'm going to bury this thing and forget it exists. Hit the like button for wasted money on bad blasters.

As a Mandalorian and Star Wars Fan, I am incredibly sad to see how badly this blaster functions. Its like Nerf is just trying to suck our wallets dry, but not even give us anything in return. I bet you that someone could make a cardboard version of this that shoots at at least 90 fps and performs significantly better than this dumpster fire "blaster"

Gonna be honest, this shoots harder than I was expecting. I was thinking it would hit 50 if we were lucky.

You know, the $80 Dart Zone pistol doesn't look like a bad value now since Nerf wants $120 for a jolt with a breech that makes brrt noises when you pull the trigger. I love the Mandolorian, but if I bother with this blaster it's gonna be when the target one goes on clearance because it also isn't worth $50.

You bought it so we don’t have to… hats off to you.

Let’s hope the Aliens blaster is better.

The only hope I've had was that gamestop would have one and it would go on clearance in six minths. I've honestly have been ;et down by so many prop blaster it should just be obvious by now.

I can't see a modern Nerf blaster or blaster type product without either sighing in disappointment or wincing in pain.
I think Nerf has run it's course lads. Might as well make a foam-flinger out of some spare PVC bits and some springs cause it'd be a damn sight better that the complete and utter shite that Hasbro has been forcing down our throats this last 2 to 2 & 1/2 years.

Unbelievable! I can't believe Hasbro has the balls to charge THAT much!!!!

The breech is cool and I want to see someone make this thing a true sniper rifle. Maybe put a mazooka in the stock and use a brass breech in the breech system but it’s going to be difficult to find a way to do so. I’d imagine this thing with a proper breech and air power could hit about 300 FPS.

I’m curious, if you could snap your fingers to have it, what would you do to make it worth the $120?

As a Star Wars fan, I could get one of these and hope to modify for a “sniper” class. It looks cool but I’d have to find some kind of sale for it… and it doesn’t perform well enough stock.

This honestly looks like something you'd win from a fair, like a "grand prize" or something.
We all know how the plastic on those feel, so I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say this feels the same.
Nerf is officially in a hole they cannot dig themselves out of. It's honestly really sad.

You're not wrong at all. I'm a star wars LARPER and we actually look at a mix of performance AND aesthetics and this kinda sucks on the performance end so bad that we can't justify using it.

(We actually mostly use Rival stuff for our blaster firefighters because they're reliable and good for short range.)

It'd be interesting to see from a cosplay perspective how this would stack up against a similar quality prop. I'm assuming given the finish, not very well

Let's face it: Hasbro Nerf cares more about looks and gimmicks than actual performance - across the board. Any blaster line. They don't improve accuracy, or for long. They extend range less than half the time. Their trained in cosmetics but still cut corners. To expect this, a direct from manufacturer product at a premium price, to be good, is an uphill battle. The writing was on the wall when it launched. I'll forgive the nearly entire calendar year of wait time but I can't forgive what was at the end of that hype.

The only thing that justifies the self appointed "#1 Blaster Brand" nickname is their marketing and licensing. But it doesn't guarantee quality, value or durability.

It's a prop blaster. That's not worth the money or the hype

It's worth as a reselling in a few years due to it's novelty status, and honestly I'm pretty sure that's what Nerf is going for in this blaster; a novelty status blaster that's NEVER intended for serious use

American Foam mentioned that it's outperformed by a Jolt, and let's be real; expecting anything good from Hasbro is just endless masochism at this point.

Just.. buy the 60 dollar version instead, because at least That's moddable without destroying the novelty value

I was really excited to see this
I can’t believe nerf made a single shot $120 or $50, I thought it would have more capacity and I was excited but no, it’s a single shot and it’s long

The fact that Nerf is releasing a cheaper version of this blaster makes me wonder why the price tag for this is twice as much.
