My fave high school makeup removal tip ( and one of the oldest tips of all time) - use Vaseline. This was all we had in my house and it was perfect because it’s one of the best makeup removers, ever. People have been using this for decades and it’s because it works so well at breaking everything down.

How to use:

Warm it up in your hands and lather it to break apart makeup. Soak a cotton round with micellar water and then wipe it off. It works magic.

Follow with your favourite cleanser of choice.

At night i use vaseline to remove makeup then wash it and wash it again with face cleanser then apply oil free moisturizer and always apply spf in the morning - i have acne prone skin idk if it's a good routine but idk removing makeup with cleanser just was not enough so i started using vaseline i don't use any serums or anything but i'm thinking about vitamin c or bha idk which one tho

wouldnt use petroleum jelly/vaseline near my eye bc it created a stye and created dry areas on my eyelid

It works like a charm but it can clog pores so u have to also be careful

Has anyone tried using Nivea creme as a cleansing cream? I used it to remove sunscreen and it works surprisingly well.

I like this but it leaves a strong residue afterwards, so I use face wash afterwards

Too much rubbing. With philosophy, my makeup comes off easily. No rubbing needed

Vaseline causes acne especially for sensitive skin. I have tried this before and it irritates your skin. Would not recommend
