My first theory is that, since the story is so similar to that of Ruth in the Bible, Hollis will end up with Etan. With this theory, I also guess that somehow the current royal family of Isolte will all die and Etan will become king and Hollis will be queen.
However, I am still stuck on what Jameson said when Hollis left, that she would be his, and makes me wonder if she'll somehow end up back with him and hopefully he will have gotten over his submissive queen idea.
I also have a nagging idea from the book trailer... because at the end of the trailer it shows the silhouette of another woman when the narration talks about a new love... would Hollis turn out bi? Perhaps Valentina or maybe even Scarlet?
