Kobe was 9X 1st Team All Defense in a guard driven league. Which means he was checking the leagues best on a nightly basis. Tied for most all time with MJ. 3X on the 2nd team so 12 selections overall. 18X All star, 5X champ, 15X All NBA honors with 11 of them being on the 1st team. Not to mention a top 5 scorer of all time and he’s 11?

Guys you don't have to actually rank players. Not every player has the same career. Every player is different due to their unique circumstances, no two careers are the exact same. Of course it's fun to compare and rank players, but we gotta remember that's all it is just having fun. For me he floats on the edge of the Top 5. Depending on the day, he's either in or out. But for me Jordan, LeBron, Kareem and Magic are all ahead of him, and you could make the argument for Shaq, Russell or Duncan to overtake too.
