I still have a pick that Cliff gave me when I was 13 years old when my brother and I went to go see them in Pittsburgh. I was only allowed in because we knew the owner as you had to be 16 and older at the time. I wish I could post a picture of it, it’s in a glass frame. I have a picture with Cliff giving it to me and a guy offered me $1500 for it with the photo. I refused it. Had two other guys offer me $900 and $200 for it and they got the same response

I was senior in high school and Metallica was the soundtrack to my life at the time..this happened and even though I obviously didn’t know any of them personally the news was crushing.
