most government agencies have a corresponding inspector general agency that is tasked with auditing it among other things. several of those IGs were investigating musk for various criminal activities. the first thing DOGE did was get rid of head of those IGs. u have a billionaire that has received billions in gov contracts & is set to receive more contracts. he also spent over $250 mil to get his guy elected (who was also under criminal investigation). note that he just made a trip to india & negotiating to reduce tariffs on EV cars so he can sell teslas over there. yet people think that musk's ambition is to save america. btw note that trump created a new gov agency last time around! and u dont hear DOGE targeting that agency. everyone is entitled to their opinion but some times it is good to look a deeper into the facts rather than falling for the headlines.
