2018-2019 was the Rams window. Forget discussing the Seahawks & 49ers twice every season, you can throw in the Cardinals in that discussion too, but get past your own division, Brady & the Bucs, Rodgers & the Packers are waiting too. Stafford to me, could duel with Rodgers, but the Bears really haven't had that franchise QB, Vikings & Packers would also win the division. Stafford & Lions seemed to never be the team that was on top of the division at the end. And that doesn't even put the Vikings into the conversation. So Stafford is really going to a hotter division than what he was in. Goff went to a SB, lost 13-3 in that. There was the window, they built a team, similar to the Eagles SB Champions and ended up 13-3 losers, rather than 41-33 winners. In that SB, if Goff and the rest of the Rams as a team wasn't playing to the level of the shootout they won vs the Chiefs in regular season for a SB, I mean, what happened ? And then Suh goes to Tampa, wins a SB with Brady ? I'm not buying Stafford as delivering a SB with the Rams, when their best shot at one was 3 seasons ago with Goff. Patriots, Chiefs & Bucs have won SB's since. The Eagles had a window, they seized it. The season following, they were a dropped catch/interception & game winning drive from advancing.That was the door slamming shut o the Eagles. The Rams not making the playoffs the season the 49ers played the Chiefs, there's the window closing there for the Rams. Sean McVeigh is a good coach, the Rams still have him for that, he's going to have to find a franchise QB. Blaming the Lions is easy, but there were times the Lions had division winning talent under Stafford just the same.That playoff door shut with Stafford too. The unfortunate part is the Rams off year wasn't off year enough to move on from Goff with a draft pick for a franchise QB. Goff & Wentz were #1 & #2, both are with different teams in this off season. Eagles & Rams both went with the hot hands and when they cooled off, the Eagles are still eating the price of the Wentz extension. Wentz, if he can stay healthy has way more upside with the Colts, than Goff with the Lions, that much is obvious. Wentz still has to be better than Mahomes & Chiefs, Bills and a couple of others.Goff still has Rodgers to deal with.

The Rams window was still open with Goff. They still beat Seattle at Seattle Goff having a broken hand. Played vs Packers without Cooper Kupp and Donald was hurt. We lost to the Packers and Goff played well in that game. Stafford won’t win the big games. I believe McVay got figured out and called a bad game in the playoffs.
