Frogger (PS1): Zone 7: Level 3: Uncanny Crusher

The music changes up in this level, but it still sounds pretty stinky. This is another level that can be a bit of hell to beat.

The baby frogs here are distributed into one of three different sections. The green baby is just right down the middle along the green sewer river, the red and blue babies are on the left hand path from the river, while the orange and purple babies (as well as another golden baby) are on the right hand path.

The left hand path has you encounter the crushers this level names itself after. Be careful as you make your way through them, as each crush moves at different speeds. If you think that was easy, though...

The right hand path will make you want to tear your hair off! It is a longer path that is completely cover in slippery oil. You have to make your way through this oil to get the rest of those babies while also still avoiding being crushed by those spiked logs.

If you do at least manage to reach the golden baby frog, though, you should be able to safely reach the purple baby frog soon afterwards.

Glad to finally see 18 years later how to complete this level. I never figured it out on my own.

I personally think, with the possible exceptions of Big Boulder Alley and Reservoir Frogs, this is the hardest level in the whole game. It took me forever to get past those crushers, and I think I never played this level again after I beat it.

i think this is genuinely the worst level in any game i have ever played. i dont think this was tested, at all.
