I got out of metalcore type stuff in my mid-late twenties 2006 sort of grew out of what was being produced and expanding my musical landscape. Here and there I take a peak into what the scene is doing and though I respect it, I am personally unmoved. This is the first song in a long while that destroyed me. It was a privilege to watch it over and over again with my daughters. Anything close I have been missing out on in this vein let me BMTH suicide season and older Darkest Hour was the last stuff that ever moved me. I grew up on bands from Zao to Poison the well though....just had to through that out there.
