Mass Effect is the most well-designed fantasy scifi universe. Instead of breaking hundreds of little physical rules, they just twisted one rule and built the whole universe around it. 10/10.

For me, Element Zero is what makes Mass Effect stand out from other sci-fi. Like, I love Halo and 40k (among others), but Element Zero satisfactorily, and quite neatly explains how all of the awesome sci-fi things can happen within its universe, and in a way that has very little hand-waving.

Great first start. So eezo isn't considered part of the periodic table in-universe? That alone confuses what I have researched in this universe.

Best advice, get the codex entry out of the way earlier. Then do your own script and breakdown. The ending was brilliant. It seriously showed that the various species haven't even scratched the surface of what can be done with eezo. Reapers were quite careful they only left JUST ENOUGH for them to be stuck in the basics without becoming a threat to them.

ME and Halo are so well explained and closely based in reality to the point that some day in the future it’ll be possible for us to do this. Besides the amazing story and entertainment from playing them this is what I love about these games.
