I Make Pikachu Car Shoot Lightning (+9 MORE MODS!)

After I DIY turned my car to Pikachu, it's time for 10 Outrageous car modifications. I customized the car horn sound. I gilded custom emblems in 24k gold. I make a custom stick shift knob and custom license plate cover. I use reflective tape for semi trucks to mod the hubcaps. I make Pokeball seat covers and a Pokeball horn button and Pokeball door projector lights. Oh and we try to make Pikachu shoot electricity through his cheeks with a remote control. Ash Ketchum and Misty would be proud. This is not the first time you've seen me mod my car. I had to clean it a bunch because previously, I transformed my car to a green egg, a giant chia pet, covered in astro turf, a drivable fidget toy with 9,000 PopSockets and a temperature sensitive mood ring.

For the steering wheel thing, if you have an airbag, I would remove it, since you don't want it to be embedded into you if you get into an car accident.

Be careful with that steering wheel. If the airbag goes off your mod can become shrapnel.

Anything covering the middle of the steering wheel is very likely over an airbag, which means it will get fired into your face like a mortar in the event the airbag goes off, Highly recommend removing anything covering the airbag

Hate to tell you this Ali but you've secretly been a car person for a while now. Love how this came out, only suggestion from a safety stand point... Maybe a vinyl wrap over the airbag cover instead of the modeling clay.

So worth it! Small detail but you may want to redesign the steering wheel decal so it doesn't hurt you if you get in a car accident. Freaking amazing car!

Honestly, really well done with 3d printing. As someone who's been 3d printing for years it's a messy process filled with failed prints, wasted time and hours of troubleshooting trying to figure out what you did wrong. You've taken to it a LOT better than I did at the beginning!

It’s adorable how “normal” your partner is and really cute how they put up with your antics. My partner, too, swims deep in the neurodivergence that is my 200mph brain. He too smiles sweetly as I zip from idea to idea with no hint of direction.

For those that don't know: if the wheel is turned while the key isn't in the ignition, the wheel will click into a steering lock notch. And then when you put the key in and try to turn it, the tension will prevent you from turning the key, so you have to turn the wheel slightly to relieve this tension before the ignition will turn.
