I had forgotten about this song. Loved it as a child when I'd play my mother's records. Finding this song again was ethereal! Such beautiful and captivating lyrics. My mind can take me there, flying with the eagles on the wings of God's glory.

Here in Guyana 🇬🇾 we have the majestic Harpy Eagles 🦅 and whenever I see them this song comes to mind. This song is just freaking awesome... I just can't get enough of it. ABBA must have been touched after seeing them that they were inspired to compose this song.

ABBA's Eagle is probably one of the best compositions in the classic music world. Listened to this number on my flight all the way from Dubai to Paris, France! A memory maker, it is!

when I was a little girl i used to play my mum and dads record of this and spin round imagining mountains and eagles. When I found this video it made the imagination real, no CGI or special effects... the cameramen must be so proud of this footage, it's truly amazing!

The foresightedness of the group was really marvellous - it was well ahead of its time - had been hearing the song from the 70s - till date -never felt that it has become old - ought to - because of its composition - the lyrics - the singing technics - wonderful - enthralling - refreshing.
