Water is one of that FXs that make you sweat when you see it on your tasks list haha, but at the same time water gives you one of the most motivational feedbacks. its looks sooo pretty.

I'm an aerospace engineer & I love how artists & engineers converged on the same tools to model natural phenomena.

Volumes are used to simulate fluids or stresses transmitted through objects all the time. We call it Finite Element Analysis.

This video is a prime example of why I love this channel. VFX artistry requires somewhat of an understanding of how things in the world work so when you do a video about light, physics or more specifically for this video fluid dynamics, I always learn something new or gain a different angle to learn something. Plus my brain is very mechanical based so I also enjoy it when you show us a behind the scenes look on what is actually being done with VFX.

It's amazing how much effort and thought was put into making a full cinematic movie that can now be done in an afternoon by my mom on her laptop, on her kitchen table, with a couple opensource AI graphics programs that she talks to, and they talk back, and they create the entire script and flow based on her input, and use Metahuman actors, then create the entire copy protected musical score and lighting effects, commentary and narration. And she is 83.
