The federal judge felt like he needed to take control because the local and state authorities are not doing anything to fix the problem, they are just pocketing the extra tax money that was to help the homeless.

The entitlement by the homeless is jaw dropping, most of these “guests” are not even from California, never paid taxes in California, yet live rent free smoking meth and watching the sunsets! 24 hours notice and then…bring in the flame 🔥 thrower WHERE IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT? This is a health issue 100%. What in the hell is wrong with our legal system?

Judge David O. Carter is a respectable man. He's actually been on the streets alongside frontline social workers, even though he's in his late 70s. His methods might not be the best, but his intent is righteous. That's something that can't be said about the politicians.

Write down the address of all the people who oppose taking action on solving this homeless issue in LA, give it to the homeless and tell them to pack their shopping carts and move onto these people's property.

Somebody dropped the ball on this issue and it's either been the Mayors office or City council. The federal judge and the sheriff along with many L.A residents are tired of these local politicians that have allowed the homeless situation get to this point. Let's see a report on why it's taking Garcetti and Bonin so long. What do they have to say for themselves.

The judge is just trying to get action where there is inaction. Win or lose he helps the situation.

This is ridiculous. The homeless are offered housing and they say "too many rules". They can do their drugs on the beach, why leave?? Makes me sick.

Hmmm . . . They seem upset that someone wants them to do something about it.

The solution comes down to the "carrot or the stick." The homeless have been getting alot of carrots over the years. Now it's time for the stick.

Bureaucracy BS…. Wasteful spending and useless positions of power. Hire someone to make decisions trusting their judgement to get things done. Create another position to postpone the decisions of said person you just entrusted to make the decisions… hahahaha gotta love it…time passes people get paid for jobs that get absolutely nothing done.

I have a job and work hard to pay my way through life. On my free days I would like to enjoy the city beaches but I’m always bothered by encampment occupants. I have lost my tolerance as my liberty ends where the encampments begin.

I don’t know who his judge is, but I like him. They need to get some 3d houses printed for the homeless population.

Now if I was the governor in the state of California I would put an end to this free ride nonsense and tell the other States to take back their homeless. . . .

the only way to fix homeless, is by force, drag them out and put them in an isolation site away from society

I want to see the elected “officials “cleared out more than I want to see homeless people cleared out .

The elected officials responsible for dealing with the homelessness crisis are clearly unable or unwilling to do what is necessary to actually resolve the issue. Take the money grabbing politicians out of the equation and let the courts deal with it.
