South African President, Jacob Zuma, has resigned

On February 14, Jacob Zuma announced his resignation as the President of South Africa. His resignation has come after many allegations of corruption scandals emerged against him. His party, the African National Congress (ANC) too had been building pressure on him to resign. Cyril Ramaphosa has taken over as the interim President until the next elections. He is most likely to be the next presidential candidate as well.
