I would love it if Emma's new career was to just interview authors, activists, educators, etc. I can just tell this is something she really enjoys.

It's really weird to see this lady somehow looking exactly the same as when she was 15 but at the same time you can see the age on her face in the most natural way and you can feel the maturity and comfort... it kind of gives me comfort for myself when I think about aging, even though I'm just 3 years behind her... It's nice because I grew up watching her, but even now I still relate.

If Rebecca Solnit was not such an amazing author, her younger self would have made an amazing Luna Lovegood. The dreamy way she speaks in, is as amazing as her books!

“I successfully avoided husbands and children and day jobs. These things could really interfere with your productivity.” These words remind me of when Trevor Noah was asked (by Stephen Colbert who’s happily married with children) how he could do his late night show, and go on stand-up tours, and write a book, and do a bunch of interviews/podcasts etc. But Trevor’s answer is just - “because I don’t have a family.”
You really can’t have the best of both worlds lol

I feel like more than half of the people come here to see Emma qnd not to hear the what they re talking about, which is what is the purpose of the video.
Lets make Emma proud. I didn't know anything about Feminism until i started watching all these interviews and speeches by Emma. I love this video bcs it was 2 very magnificent people and I'm so interested to hear them.

I agree with points about anger. The association with power and rage is something we have learnt through a masculine concept of power. That's not to say women can't be angry or shouldn't be angry but compassion is even more powerful force a creative and opening force. It's seen as weaker because its associated with femininity.

I have never been on the edge of my seat listening to an author interview, but Rebecca Slonit speech, her ideas compress so one has listen and unpack quickly to keep up. Emma Watson skillfully guides her through the interview. An excellent combination allows to reveal the ideas of Solnit.

Emma Watson went to Brown, an Ivy League school. After getting a degree from Brown, she went to Oxford, also known to be a pretty good school. Hey, nobody's perfect.

Don't know what to say, I think I might know "self-partnered forever" means having no dream in the future for personal life, I had been there. It's a harder way for women than men, you are still young, Let others/people like me do this kind of thing..., I'm at the middle point of my life(probably, as if I can live longer) and already adapted to being alone for decades. Hope you will find a better way/life...

Most rivers in India and some of the mountains in the Himalayas are named after women or goddesses.
In turn, parents name their daughters after them.
