These passing chords are really great in application. I apply few of them now in songs. I throw these passing chords where originally wasn't and it gives different sort of flavor. I just like these passing chords...I mostly use 2_5_1, first inversion and diminished passing currently. Other passing chords I kind of use them in my practice or just trial and error in songs
