LEAP OF FAITH : SEASON ONE PART ONE

Dunmininu Dahunsi was engaged to Akin Thomas when she met Ben Brown. Her decision to end her engagement to Akin and marry Ben was received with some concern by her parents who believed they had raised a Godly daughter who knew God’s will for her life.

Their concern grew when they learned she was willing to take a risk marrying Ben who had recently found out he was a sickle cell anemia carrier, which should make marrying him not an option for her. She was also a carrier.

She tried to convince her parents to take a leap of faith and accept her decision; a battle that seemed impossible to win given the circumstance.

I came across a short video clip of these movie few days ago am so so blessed and recommending it for my sister who don't want to hear God by her self but want a prophet should help her hear, Am not saying it not good to go and enquire form a man of God but first pray let God reveal to you first before going to a man of God. If you first pray before you go to a man of God he will only confirm or shade more light on what God told you or show you the version or dream .

So my brother in Christ Bro Wole Adeyi saw my comment and decided to call me and discuss the ministration. I told him that as a healthcare provider I have cared for sicklers and their pain and suffering is very bad. As a believer I’m learning that an instruction from God might not seem logical but obedience is key in serving God. If God therefore sanctions the marriage of persons with the trait who am I to judge or question God. Medically is a disaster waiting to happen but Godically it’s a blessing because what God cannot do does not exist. Thanks for opening my eyes wider Bro Wole. I await part 2. Blessings 🙏🏽

Found this just a few days ago, and I intend to see the entire series. In my opinion, there will always be conflicting views - even among believers - on this matter. Some have had experiences they wouldn't even wish on their enemies. One thing is certain though: GOD'S NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION. If He's involved, it'll be clear for all to see - sooner or later. In all, I think everyone should be 'fully convinced' before embarking on this journey.

I have the trait of sickle cell. But sometimes, it comes through flu or when we are in a cold weather cold. I believe that the Lord is healing me. That is a Powerful movie 🎬.

Lack of full understanding of what The will of God in marriage is, makes many parents to be handling marriage with their human ideology and common life experience they have had. Stubbornness and faith are two opposing difference.
Dumininu and her man must hear God about the s.c.d as well. They have heard about the marriage. But this new discovery requires God's wisdom and direction which they must hear clearly as well before getting into marriage.

I believe it is important to receive confirmation from God concerning a spouse. Faith must be anchored on God's guidance & not on assumptions. Abraham's faith was based on what God had spoken to him. 😊
