Усть-Тасеевский идол. Ust-Taseevsky idol.

Идол Усть-Тасеевского культового комплекса самый северный в Азии, подобные изваяния не найдете даже в Хакасии. Несколько тысяч лет древние народы приносили на этом месте жертвы и дары высшим силам. Кто, кому и когда точно поставили изваяние — неизвестно. По гипотезам, идол изначально был европейской внешности, но когда татаро-монгольские племена вытеснили прежних обитателей, их шаманы переделали идол под свой образ — убрали бороду, заузили глаза. Памятник носит следы поклонения нескольких культур. Деревенские считают: здесь мощнейшая энергетика. Самая распространённая легенда гласит, что гора, где находится каменное изваяние в грозу притягивает молнии. Гиды не советуют находиться здесь долго, говорят, могут обостриться хронические заболевания. Еще они рекомендуют на удачу чем-то поделиться с идолом: деньгами или конфетами, например. В этих лесах, по словам проводников, были еще два похожих идола — одного вывезли неизвестные, второго видели давным-давно охотники, но теперь не осталось в живых людей, которые бы знали его точное местоположение.

The idol of the Ust-Taseevsky cult complex is the northernmost in Asia; you will not find such sculptures even in Khakassia. For several thousand years, ancient peoples made sacrifices and gifts to higher powers at this place. Who, to whom and when exactly the statue was erected is unknown. According to hypotheses, the idol was originally European in appearance, but when the Tatar-Mongol tribes ousted the former inhabitants, their shamans remade the idol to fit their image - they removed their beard, narrowed their eyes. The monument bears traces of worship of several cultures. The villagers believe that the energy is powerful here. The most widespread legend says that the mountain where the stone statue is located attracts lightning in a thunderstorm. Guides do not advise staying here for a long time, they say, chronic diseases may worsen. They also recommend sharing something with the idol for good luck: money or candy, for example. In these forests, according to the guides, there were two more similar idols - one was taken out by unknown persons, the second was seen long ago by hunters, but now there are no people left alive who would know his exact location.
