These are very pretty, but some tips from a soap maker- first, dont put fresh flowers into your soap, they will turn brown and gross. If you want flowers, use dry flowers and only on top as a decoration. Second, actually incorporate the fragrances into the melted soap before pouring, otherwise you cant ensure the fragrance will be mixed in

Be careful with what you add, some items can burn your skin..or if too much of a item can do the same. 💯Always do your own research on amount you can add and what not to add to your melt and pour bases. 🥰 All fragrance oils and essential oils have a ratio that you’re allowed to use to be safe. For ingredients that are not a fragrance oil or essential oil such as cinnamon or turmeric etc solid additives.. Look those up also because cinnamon will burn your skin if too much. Aren't you supposed to mix in the fragrance BEFORE you pour the soap? Because that's what my soap making textbook says. This way the fragrance won't be distributed through the soap unless you'd mix it in the mold.

The great idea would be to actually mix in your scent prior to pouring, so you don’t get scent pockets. If your gonna do melt n pour. Do it correctly

PLEASE fully mix in any fragrance! Simply adding a couple of drops like this is a chemical burn waiting to happen :(

For anyone watching…. These are pretty but don’t do this if you want great soaps.
Just a little extra work and they’ll be perfect.
#1 ROLL UP your sleeves
#2 Use DRIED flowers.. fresh will get nasty…probably moldy
#3 Mix the scent in after melting, but BEFORE the soap hardens. Give it a lil stir.
You’re good to go.

I straight up bought the victorias secret dupe line of these oils and just use it as perfume and get compliments all the time.

Very cute, but with flowers in melt and pour soap, you run the risk of the flowers rotting and unless you stir those fragrance oils in well they’re not going to be distributed properly and they might burn your skin

My aunt owns a soap store and one thing you never do is use FRESH flowers 😭 they get super gross, and you add the scent when melting the soap but everything else is soooo cute
