As the math-y person in my family, I was always made the banker. But jokes on them. I was consistently stealing money from the bank throughout the game. I considered it my salary for having to work throughout the game.

Apparently, Monopoly wasn't MEANT to be a good game. It was designed by someone to highlight the issues in the economic system, and they gave it a completely different name. However, some guy saw it and thought it could make some money, rebranded it and after a few years, a classic was made.

It can definitely be fun with the right attitude and the right people, but it's really easily turned into the instigator it was intended to be.

I realized watching this back that I spend a lot of time on my nitpick-y criticisms, but I really did have a lot of fun doing this puzzle. If I had had this when I was a kid, I definitely would have solved the jigsaw part of it over and over, just like I did with all of the other Puzz3Ds I had.

Also, when you see the timer disappear during the assembly, that’s because I accidentally left it running while I took a break, so I lost my official time. But, I was moving the camera around so much that it wouldn’t have been accurate anyway. I estimate that it would take about an hour to assemble if you weren’t also filming.

I'm a game designer, and my biggest annoyance with Monopoly is that if one person doesn't really want to play, it can and will ruin it for other players who do. I'm not even saying everyone SHOULD really want to play games and take them super seriously, people will join a game for many reasons and that's fine, but that shouldn't hurt the other players.

You cut your hair and it’s so cute! I love how satisfying the puzzling process is with those foam pieces. Personally I think monopoly is fun but it can just drag on for so long. My brother in law and I used to play speed Monopoly. Our fastest time to complete an entire game was 25 minutes.

We used house rules. If you went around the board twice you had to change with someone else. It could have been someone in the room or the person next to you, and that included everything, money, property, and Boardwalk. The game would last for the entire weekend. I also wanted to say, I like your haircut.

My favorite monopoly is Disney monopoly. Me and my younger sister played for hours and hours as a kids. We threw out the crappy cards that make you go in debt super fast. We also bent the rules a bit because we competitive but also felt really bad when the other couldn't afford to visit a property. We learned that we were genuinely caring of each other and always had a great time playing to see who in the end could survive.

I actually have this in my closet. My parents bought a set for me and my brother. The funnest part was putting it together. Never really played it, because I would have to dismantle and put it away.
