Thank you for this. I was looking for a way to make a function call deal with a structure. The book I am using explains it so poorly that after hours of work I hadn't managed to get it working. The answer was, put the struct statement outside of main. I don't know why the book neither mentioned that, nor showed an example.

good video but you can still improve it by mentioning why you used each library function (such as typedef) and it does.

Both should work the same. One is an older way of doing the same thing.

In line 24 your printf statement looks like:

printf("%i/%i\n  ... )

I thought slashes had to be printed with a delimiter? like "//"?
