I always feel bad for people who live near a highway

That trailer is sporting a red flammables hazmat placard, best i can tell . I'm viewing this on a phone w/a magnifying glass. A freight fire, plus diesel fuel. Retired trucker, sending heartfelt sympathy to all involved.

I can't believe the pool survived but the vinyl siding did not. THat's one tuff pool.

Just 2 blocks away from my house, I'm so thankful me and my mom decided to go out a little later or else we would've been caught up in this.

Did the truck driver live? Did the driver survive the crash? There's barely anything recognizable left of the truck. But there's no word by the newscasters on the driver?

Those nj transit buses are so reckless.

route 3 used to be like 50 ft further from those houses, they widened the road cause of all the traffic in that area. I always thought it was weird how they put that sound barrier right next to peoples yards! sketchy!

Property values in that area near a highway is going down in rapid rate. Never a good idea to get a house in these factors.

You can’t not notice the gleam in the reporter’s eyes as she talks about death and devastation

That's not the cab burning. That's a tote. Was probably filled with flammable liquids. (I can't see a bulk placard on trailer but I can see a flammable placard.)

Hazmat hauler. Corrosive AND flammable placards, that's why the siding it melted, its not just the heat, there are some BAD chemicals in the air there, bad for the lungs and environment and as you see the smoke on the storm drain.. this accident is horrible. I don't think the driver survived that one. R.I.P to the driver and condolences to his family. A 4 wheeler probably cut him off and caused all this.. what a shame :(
