FX-AUDIO DAC-X3. DAC / Headphone Amplifier - REVIEW

FX-AUDIO DAC-X3. You might have been having the same questions as I had about this DAC/Headphone amplifier. Can this little brother of a quite well known X6 from FX-AUDIO compete with it's bigger brother or other more expensive DAC/Headphone amplifiers currently on the market? X6 is for it’s price quite no-brainer, a bargain in my opinion but what about even cheaper X3. Is it worth it to buy? Does is sound any good? Is it similar sounding to X6? Hi, nice review! Can you listen to it with headphones and rca-out simultaneously? Or do dac block rca when you plug in headphones?

Do you have a sound demo for this? I know it doesnt translate well in youtube, but at least we would have some idea..:) how does this compare to the fiio e10k? That one is 2x the price, is it 2x the performance?

Hey wich sound card will you recommed to use with speakers, i dont give a crap about headphones, i listen to musci loud on my speakers and want to improve the sound a little bit, is this the right card for this? or can you recommend me some others, not that expensive please, cheers

Would this work on my LG 4k TV? I have a pair of headphones, but my Tv does not have headphones slot anywhere. Was wondering if this little device would be a simple plug & play to have audio come out through my headphones. I hope you respond:) Thanks!

Hey there. I'm choosing between this (X3) and the Topping NX1s (amp only) for use in my laptop, which also has the Realtek HD audio chip. I'll be connecting it to powered speakers and headphones.

Which one would be better? I'm guessing it's the X3 since it has both DAC and amp. The only advantage of the NX1s is portability as it has a rechargable battery. But I would really appreciate your opinion. Thanks 🙂

my DAC just came today and it sound really good. BUT the main problem i have right now is my headset MIC. Its not working at all but windows Detected it as USB 2 audio device. Any tips or knowledge you have how to make this Mic work? im using Steelseries arctis 3 headset with 3.5mm jack
