Would you use a detail trimmer like this or just go with one big one?

I got it because its small enough to fit in my toolbox, I can quickly grab it to preform maintenance and it works well!

I have a lot if small shrubs to trim, and some topiary to do. This looks ideal! Already on the battery platform with the M12 Hatchet, which I find excellent!

Great review! Fantastic little tool, but the kit's expensive. Bare tool in the $99 - $129 range would be great.

That would be handy walking through the woods
Thanks Mark...

Can you tell me where to buy just the 8" hedge trimmer blades? I've tried contacting Milwaukee and can't get them to respond. I can't find the 8" hedge trimmer blades *anywhere*.

Had them catch on a piece of metal from a political sign (the kind that sticks in your yard) and break a tooth off.

Use a die grinder and grind the mushroom-looking parts of the blade flat and then 1/2" items can fit through normally. It makes this like a new tool.

Old Milwaukee's advertisement of 1/2 inch cutting ability is very misleading as you pointed out so well. Also, does this trimmer have a trigger lock?

Waste of money and time. The MAKITA-XHU07T is the best of all no joke.
