I bought my uke bass a year ago but I could not find a physical teacher to teach me, so it just stayed in a corner of my place. Because I want something "bass" for our seniors uke group, I decided to search the internet for tutorial and found this website. Thank you for your very clear instructions. Funny thing, when I did something right I smile at you, my teacher! By the way I will be 79 this April and to learn play the uke bass is a gift I want to give myself. Hope I can learn something before then to surprise my group. Our group, which performs at nursing homes, plays old ditties loved by the residents (ages ranging from 65 above). Thank you for your teaching. I enjoyed my first lesson.

I wished there was more diversity of instruments when i was younger, the recorder quickly killed any interest i had in music at the time. But now i rediscovered it with my wife, i started play the Cavaquinho (the Grand father of the Uke) and now the Bass ukelele. I Wish i had you has a teach back then. <3
