Grimy OO Gauge model Railway. BR Transition Era Layout with sound.

Built onto a small pasting table about a decade ago using kits and kit-bashed kits with roofs made from card strips and lots of dirt and debris everywhere, just like a BR engine shed! Made cheaply and in very little time and named after the Bauhaus song.

I do not show the wiring underneath as it is a complex hellish visual abomination but it all works well.

Some older photos and footage show a small back scene I made with low relief chimneys and smoke which has subsequently fallen and needs repositioning!

I'm constantly amazed at how lifelike these layouts look. It may be a decade old but it still looks great!!

Excellent layout in small space. That low speed running was superb and as you say crucial for a layout such as this. Do you have any tips on how you achieve it? Graphing the tracks for instance.
