Tbh she actually isn’t obligated to take care of you since you’re a grown adult and not a child. Unless you have generous parents, you’re on your own when you turn 18 and it is your responsibility to take care of YOURSELF.

I know this one all too well. Granted I didnt stay with my parents til I was 34. I was living on my own long before then. But i have always had a job, some more difficult than others, but each job has its own hurtles. I have had my own place for a long while now, own a daily driver car, a project car, and soon to purchase a truck. Also saving for a house in the next few years. Noone likes paying bills, but its required. I used to like work less, but I think it was in part due to the jobs I'd had when I was younger. McDonalds, Subway, that type of stuff. I will admit, working at those places sucks unless you just really enjoy it. But over the years, I got myself into better jobs.

The one I have now is physically demanding, as I am a maintenance supervisor. But, I really truly enjoy it, and it makes decent money. I can pay my bills, put some into savings and have some left over for things I want, without having to worry about being able to afford it. Too many these days don't learnt his lesson and it is sad.

I feel so bad for the mom. She cared for him all his life, and did one of the hardest things a parent could ever do, all so that her son would have a good life, and what does she get? A lawsuit, and getting called the worst mom in the world when she is clearly one of the best. I’m just glad things work out between them in the end
