I loved this movie and its sequel as a child and my love has only grown for it since. So here's a music video starring our favorite mischievous creatures! And my online friend Eliskuya had a birthday so I'm dedicating this video to him!

Without a doubt one of the most iconic themes heard in any 80's horror comedy considering that it sounds so crazy and energetic. Add to the fact that it was in Gremlins makes this theme music even more iconic and unforgettable.

I think what I've always liked about the Gremlins was their natural alignment. As shown when they were just having drinks and snacks, or watching Snow White (and loving it!), they are capable of being sweet. They're just looking to have fun. The problem is that they don't seem to have much concept of morality, or right and wrong, and are Chaos incarnate. They understand vengeance, and will lash out if frightened, hurt or upset, but if left to their own devices? These little maniacs would get along far too well with the Joker. _"Do I look like the man with a plan to you? I just like _*_doing_*_ things~"_ is their whole vibe.
On their biology, given their canon origins from somewhere in China(?), I suspect they come from the Gobi desert, where they don't see much rainfall at all.

This film creeped the shit out of me when I was a little kid, but now it’s a great watch at Christmas and I’m so nostalgic of the creepy yet cozy 80s Christmas vibes, and the soundtrack is great!
