Eddie wouldn't be suited to it in my opinion, he is a daily (6am starts) hands on player developing over time style of coach, he wouldn't be beneficial to players with him for the short international periods. Eddie is absolutely excellent at what he does in the football club capacity and even he would probably do a job fine with England, as said it wouldn't be his suit which means the International squad wouldn't really be better off than promoting someone from their current set up.
