Today I’m doing a little upgrade to my Macintosh SE to add an SD card slot and BlueSCSI SD card reader to the back of the computer!

If you want to purchase any of this stuff be aware that I am using the BlueSCSI v1.1. As of this video these brackets are not compatible with the BlueSCSI v2.

When I made my custom SE, i actually did something similar to this! Though what I did was I put the card reader into where the floppy drive goes so all I need is a pencil to pop the Sd card out! Though I used a ZULUSCSI for my machine.

I think the ideal solution would be to mount it in the hard drive bay but with the SD card removable via the opening for the upper floppy drive

Is that how that bracket supposed to go in? It seems like you should put it in the other way around (going in from the outside, if that makes sense) so that it sits flush with the outside of the case

I could be wrong

Would be good to see the software side of things?

I put a bluescsi in my SE/30, then got an SD card extender (ribbon cable) and ran it through the security lock slot in the back of the machine.

Might want to say this shows the old version of BlueSCSI that is no longer in production as it has been replaced by the BlueSCSI V2.

Is there a way to do that if you already have that slot in use?
