I'm pushing back my wedding another two years. Will pre-order the new Sony instead. :)

well well, long time from seeing your videos. Nice to see your vids again.
will be looking forward the the fuji summit presentation tomorrow as well.
Imagine that 10, 000$ camera is a sony medium format camera haha. That will be crazy indeed.

I'd rather trust a witch doctor predicting the future with animal bones than that sony rumour site

I personally like the right one aka "the original" a bit more 🙃
The "more aggressive" bend on the cap and the soft material are the reasons why 🤗

Sony wouldn't name a camera "A1" because that was the name of one of Canon's most successful film cameras back in the 80s.

I think I am more excited for the Fuji because it is made for normal people. And I love the specs it could easily be someone's second camera.

Unless it's 10, 000 pesos, it's expensive. Good video Simon! :D

Personally I like the black hat but the other is nice too, I had mentioned in one of your other videos that Sony A7R IV has been used at NFL football games by the FOX crew, Personally I think that says a lot about how far dslr/mirroless consumer cameras have come

As a primarily landscape photographer who almost never shoots at F/2.8, I think the RF 70-200 F/4L is a great option. I have the EF version. Much lighter, way cheaper, and just as sharp as the F/2.8 version. I expect similar performance from the RF. But, being happy with the EF zoom, I'm unlikely to get one.

Trickle down technology and all that, I do hope it’s an $8, 000 alpha camera because the low end and midrange are fully covered

You should *always* have backups of your data. macOS makes this easy with Time Machine. You can either directly comment the backup disk with a cable or use an SMB share on a device that ensures data integrity (like a storage device connected to your iMac Pro). Then if a repair needs to be done on a Mac, you’re never without your data.

Always be backing up.

With a price of 10k it better take picture of the of deep field space like the Hubble Telescope... 🤯😳

Grey Hat, love the softer look and I'm good with the white lettering.

Sounds like Sony could potentially make an entry into medium format.
At $10, 000, it is the price of the 100+ megapixel GFX, and Sony already manufactures sensors for Phase One...

I vote for the grey one Simon. More practical for me. You just throw it in your backpack.

Professional landscape photographers will love the f/4 70-200. (see Thomas Heaton). Not every style of photography covets f/2.8

Tony N explained that if the new Sony camera have a curved sensor it will have to be a RX camera. If they put a curved sensor in a camera for interchangeable lenses you will have to buy leses for curved sensor.
