Its the lack of entrapment of newer players. Talked to some friends into krunker, and their exact response was "get shot before I can even start moving" so basically, skill based match making. IF (IF) EMPHASIS ON IF ranked brings the pubstompers away from pubs and to ranked, and new players get a better experience - these factors bring in both new twitch and youtube viewership.

I think that another reason is just the fact that Sid and the devs are trying to change the game entirely. It's going from a traditionally only pub game to now focusing on player created content. While pubs aren't going away, they just aren't getting as much attention. Its not that Krunker is dying, its that it is transitioning between two major stages of the game, which also means its transitioning between two completely different playerbases. The old playerbase has began to quit while the game transitions, but as soon as the new version of the game starts to pick up popularity, a whole new set of players will join.

I do believe that big things may be coming to krunker and agree that krunker used to be more "alive." However, of these times, the game feels like a Roblox game and the graphics look the same as 1-2 years ago. I think the thing to remember is that all games have their rises and declines in views and plays. Maybe one day it will come back, and maybe even more popular, but for now we just have to wait

First thing the Devs should do is create lobbies based on level. Ex: Level 1 to 10 players in one lobby, level 90 to 100 players in another lobby. It's so frustrating when you're so close to getting a nuke, and suddenly a level 100 player stampedes through the lobby, kills everyone, and then leaves.

Krunker is like a depressed college student in a anime before the good montage

How new players play Krunker:
- Download the game from Steam
- Get into a lobby and play the game for the first time
- Someone flies by at sonic speed, kill them instantly
- Get into a different lobby
- Run into a hacker that also kills them instantly
- Delete the game from Steam


In my opinion, Krunker is a great game with a lot of potentials. However, it doesn't have a consistent player base because of how big the skill curve in Krunker is. It also doesn't have a matchmaking system, so new players can be put into a lobby with pro players... it's not fun to die over and over.

i remember when i first played krunker it was so fun learning and getting mad and thinking someone was hacking when they killed me, when i first joined. i found it so alive, everytime i joined a server it felt like the game wasnt dead and it was a really good game, there used to be 700+ players in silicon valley at around 4 pm now there are 400 at 4 pm :(

as a 2018 player i wouldnt necessarily quit the game entirely but jus take minor breaks. whenever it gets boring ("boring, " as in hackers in 50% of the lobbies i land in), i would rather play smthn else like val or ow.

the game is fine for me. i rarely have any server issues, ping issues (even when my server is na i play on tokyo and singapore) or whatsoever; the only problems r the hacker problem that has been goin on since the game came out (and hasnt been fixed), and that the unfairness in fps during gameplay (like a 60fps player with the same skill as a 100 or 500 fps player wont be able to beat them since theyre on lower fps)

krunker definitely is dying AT THE MOMENT, but i believe that it'll climb back up after a few tweaks here and there (:

I wanted to say that Sidney never left KB, he was always in it with an alias. If you had dms with Sidney or knew what his id was and checked in KB, you would see him with the Owner role in KB

What I think is that :-
Krunker is a game that mostly school kids play and currently holidays are on and our parents are with us the whole time.
Which leaves no time for us to play krunker as most of the parents are against video games.
But when online classes are on we can spend more time on our screens, here some students attend classes and some play games watch videos etc.
I think the vaccation has resulted in the downfall of krunker players.
Hopefully by next month more and more players will join our community :)

I think the player based dying is the fact that probably like 25% of the player base is intermediate school/middle school players, so if they stop then krunker declines
