A conversation about Psychogeography

I think the meaning of the word psychogeography is misconstrued. It is not about hunting or aimlessness. It is all about how we're made to feel about the geography, the area in which we are, or where we've found ourselves. But that isn't a physical finding, it's psychological. So the word psychogeography means how we're made to feel. What are the inspirations or the otherwise effects of the area on us psychologically. How do/does the art, architecture, layout, style, modelling, building, construction, streetscape, monuments, all these surroundings, how do they make us feel. It is psychogeography. The answer is always the same. We adapt, we become part of the story. If we are there, we are part of the story. It has nothing to do with walking or history, it is about who we become in any situation, this is psychogeography. How do we now act, now that we found ourselves in the story. Is it right, this storybook we're in? We are acting in accordance with our surrounds but are our surrounds correct? This is the question we may ask of psychogeography. Or we may simply accept the change in our psychology.

Does this sort of conversation only gain context from well know landmarks?? JFC read a book it’s everywhere. It only seems new because it maps movement of a singular perspective rather than narrative from many.
