Archicad to 3ds Max through Mirza Link Manager

This video shows how to create a link between your 3ds Max scene and an Archicad model through the Mirza Link Manager.
(works with Sketchup, Revit, Rhino3d and Autocad as well)
We will import a first design alternative into 3dsmax, work on its materials, then we will update the link to get another design alternative with all the changes made in 3ds max already applied.

the problem is, when add new material to the old mesh, new max multimaterial can be real messy with an update(( please fix it

I have some issue in 3dsmax when importing archicad model. When applying a material to polygon in edit polygon modifier the material does not follow through after update. I'm assuming there is some workflow I should follow with this? I seem to remember having a similar issue in Lumion.
