I am The Remembrancer.

It is my duty to retell the stories and chronicles of the glorious Imperium of Mankind.

Via voxlink and transmission I shall send my tales through the Warp in the hopes that the Imperium might hear of it's forgotten histories and Remember it's sacred past.

For in the grim darkness of the far future there is only War.

And one day when Dorn was embattled against the Iron Cage, desperately calling for aid as his sons are cut down by the Iron Warriors, a message came from the Adeptus Mechanicum "well, we'd love to help, but Supply and Demand, dude"

Sorry but Fabricator substitute there had a point. The Mechanicum labored for the Imperium and now because of an Imperium traitor, Mars was being ripped apart but Dorn stands there being passive aggressive with an attitude of "sorry dude but my troops are more important than yours".

With such indifference like that, it was an act of great restraint and loyalty to the Emperor that the Fabricator didn't turn traitor right there and then. And it's small wonder why the Adeptus Mechanicum has treated the Imperium as just an ally of convenience ever since. When the chips were down, Dorn didn't even try to show sympathy. Even a word of kindness would have done much to salve the Fabricator unbearable loss and helplessness.

I love how traitor Toasters somehow become more spidery and organic.

Mechanicum is still one of my top ten Horus Heresy novels. A masterpiece.

I wonder if the Dark Mechanicum will formally align itself with Vashtorr The Arkifane?

With all that I said previously about mag'ladroth in the previous admech video done on this channel, it really makes you wonder how he felt about all this. Sure, he absolutely fucking hates chaos being corruptive as fuck and ruining shit everywhere, but given how the machine spirit as an idea was only recently created during this part of the timeline and given it's clearly based on his abstract concept deciding to give special treatment to mankind's weapons as thanks for being extremely respectful and careful with them....i kinda feel like he actually got really fucking mad when the dark mechanicum took over mars temporarily, like imagine knowing the very same corruption that turned you, and your fellow concepts (the c'tan) have their followers literally just hanging out above ground while your physical avatar just rots there, wondering how this could of ever happened when so much started to become crystal clear to his mind again.

Fr tho GW writers really need the guy to actually acknowledge his unknowing followers and have it be something other than just pure spite because that wouldn't make sense for shit given he willingly helps them with making their shit more OP.

What gets me is the dark mechanicum would be willing to destroy such valuable technology within the various forges. That is the ultimate heresy, destruction of technology. Probably why I enjoy the lore so much, just the thought of what was and could be within the 40k universe.

In a way, this reminds me of just what kind of knowledge was lost in the burning of the Library of Alexandrea in ancient times. Just were would we be as a human race if we had never lost that treasure trove of knowledge. 🤔

@TheRemembrancer are there any lore on the technology of the Tau and how they developed theirs? be kinda interesting to see if any of the tau tech was gleamed from ancient human tech from the great tech age.

Horus was really hoping that he could get Mars loyal to him considering he needed all of their resources to successfully destroy the Emperor, and every battle on Mars was a pitch siege to all the loyal servants of the Emperor.
