Ganga Talab/Talav (not Talao as it's routinely misspelt in Mauritius) is NOT in Port Louis but in south central Mauritius, tens of kms from the capital.

On another note, we the Sanatanis of Mauritius are indeed highly fortunate to have the Yugpurush of this era visit our island for the second time in a decade, this time with the added blessing of Modiji, in his greatness and wisdom, gifting us the amrita of Gangajala collected during the Mahakumbh at the Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj by consecrating with it the sacred lake here also named after Ganga Mata. I, along with members of my immediate family, were amongst the not-so-many Indo-Mauritians who were able to make it to Bharat to attend the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, spending five days in the Mela, but since most Mauritian Hindus could not make it physically, this particular gesture takes on a whole other Dharmic dimension, in its symbolism as well as beyond.
