Great stuff. I shot my son who does a little show with fire and used slow shutter (1/2 to 2 secs), second curtain and flash... Great results. Thank you for your work and time. Take care.

Flash becomes faster when you use it in lower power settings. Most flashes at 1/8 can freeze anything, since most flashes at this power setting have around 1/4000 flash duration. I shoot a lot during night time and I crank up the ISO to capture the ambient light, so I can get around using a small Godox TT350 to freeze motion. Sometimes I can use it even at 1/128, which gives me around 1/20000 flash duration. The best tip for freezing motion with flash is to find a flash that can give you enough power at 1/8 for your use case (which ISO and aperture you usually use).

I have just started working my way with Flash this weekend, and I must credit you for the motivation as I always felt intimidated by them. This video couldn't have come on much better time :) Thanks mate.

Your works are amazing, so much better than some popular Youtuber photographer, I just don't understand why you have not received more spotlight :)

Hey Haze, thanks for another fantastic video and great images. I love the way you use a small octabox (with a grid), even with full length shots. Does this give you a completely even lighting over the length of the body or are you looking for a little fall off at the extremities.

Haze, great video...what kind of tripod is that you're utilizing for low shots?
